Hey I just had another Debate. This time it was over year round schooling. I was totally for the idea although I had to change a lot of minds. I ended up winning the debate. This debate helped me see many sides to the American education system. All in all I think that I would side for year round school I mean a 3 week break every 45 days and still have a 7 week summer.

I would just like to tell everyone that I won my first debate. It was fun, but I did learn that I need to be more prepared for what the affirmative might throw at me. I think that I had a good position on the topic though so that helped me a lot.

Today is my first debate. We are going to argue the legal drinking age. I am on the negative side and want it to stay at the age of 21. In all I have learned a lot. This picture is from www.nd.edu

The Habitat for Humanity ads usually classified under emotional advertising. A good example of this would be the commercial when Reba McEntire partnered with them. In the commercial she was holding a key and she said something to the effect of "A key is just an ordinary piece of metal but to others it can be so much more". I have always thought that this was a sad commerical. This photo came form forum.belmont.edu

E
e- Harmony an internet dating site that gets millions of visitors each day. This is a good example of Band- Wagon advertising, because it talks about how many people use it. Hey and you even get matched on 27 characteristics. WOW how lucky please do not think that I am teasing anyone who uses an internet dating site. This cool photo was taken from 1.bp.blogspot.com

Kaboom, Kaboom, Kaboom, Kaboom, that's all you ever hear when you a commercial pops up on the television. If this is not an example of Repetition advertising then I do not know what is. I personally think that this is one of the most annoying commercials ever. This photo was taken from www.divinecaroline.com

This is a great house, anyone can tell. Look at the detail in the trim its amazing. I am a huge fan of Queen Anne architecture. This style of architecture was very popular in 1890 through 1900.http://jan.ucc.nau.edu

Salt Lake City Temple

I love this picture of the Salt Lake City Temple. If you didn't know I am a Latter-day Saint also known as a Mormon. I also want to be an architecture so I think that this is an amazing example of American- Gothic architecture. It is also a testament of hard work because it took 40 years to build. http://messengerandadvocate.files.wordpress.com
